I make a wide variety of handcrafted wood items in my shop in Ashland from both native and exotic hardwoods. I specialize in smaller unique items that can be used in the home for accent and focal points.
One featured work here is hardwood chests with soft close lids. Black walnut is pictured, but these can also be made in cherry or oak as well as other woods to suit the client. Frequently used as gifts for storing toys or other items for a children’s room, they can also be adapted to have cedar lining and become a blanket storage chest.
Other featured works include detailed, handcrafted serving trays featuring complementary and contrasting hardwood highlights. Additionally, there is a Cherry wall hanging curio cabinet that features unique floral applique, in this case, an iris and leaves. Various unique end grain cutting and straight boards are available.
